Stacy Brooks - Fri, June 17, 8pm
Once Stacy Brooks took a deep dive into the Blues, she was quickly dubbed DC Queen of the Blues by her peers and fans in the DC area. However, she doesn't just perform in DC, she is known internationally. Winner of the DC Blues Battle of the Bands, The Stacy Brooks Band has competed in a number of competitions, including the 30th Annual International Blues Challenge in Memphis (2014) and the International Blues Challenge in Memphis (2012). She has been nominated for many other awards numerous times, includingfor Best Female Blues Vocalist with the Washington Area Music Association for several years.More
Bumper Jacksons - Sat, June 18, 8pm
Bumper Jacksons are hot and sweet, painting America's story from the streets of New Orleans to Appalachian hollers. Unafraid to scrap together new sounds from forgotten 78's, the Bumper Jacksons elegantly balance paying homage to the traditions while fashioning their own unique, playful style. The group began as a duo, a city-meets-country experiment between songstress Jess Eliot Myhre and banjo player Chris Ousley. They hopped on bicycles, touring the country, instruments on their backs, seeking to reimagine roots music. In five short years, Bumper Jacksons grew to a fiery five-piece, with horns and pedal steel. They now tour internationally, and have been honored multiple times as the Mid-Atlantic's "Artist of the Year," "Best Country/Americana Band" & "Best Folk Band" at the Washington Area Music Awards. David Chappell and Friends - The Anacostia Delta Sound - Fri, June 24, 8pm
Guitarist Dave Chappell, one of the most sought after and respected musicians in the area, was one of the stars of the recent PBS screened movie Anacostia Delta, which spotlighted the great guitarists of DC, inspired by Danny Gatton and Roy Buchanan. Dave will be performing the rock, blues, country, jazz inspired music which creates the unique sound of the DC area, the Anacostia Delta sound. David’s "friends" at Lubber Run include long-time Danny Gatton bassist Jon Previti, and fellow guitarist Anthony Pirog, Tommy Lepson (keys/vocals), Bruce Swaim (sax), John Thomakos (drums). David has performed with many of the greats including Jerry Lee Lewis, Sam & Dave, Percy Sledge, and members of the Allman BrothersBand. The event will be introduced by Anacostia Delta co-producer Ken Avis. More
The 19th Street Band - Sat, June 25, 8pm
Characterized by high energy and strong vocal harmonies, The 19th Street Band bridges the musical traditions of country and roots from Ireland to the Appalachia with their eclectic gypsy-rock spirit leaping from the stage and engaging every crowd. The charismatic vibe that Caolaidhe Davis (guitar player/vocalist) blends with fiddle/mandolin player/vocalist/partner-in-crime, Meghan Davis, creates a joy-filled chemistry that no crowd can resist. Add to the mix the highly talented rhythm section, Greg Hardin (bass) & Patty Dougherty (drums), and this band will have every crowd addicted. The band’s newest album, Diamond in the Rough, was chosen as ‘Album of the Month’ on West Norfolk Radio, selected as a finalist for the DC Wammie Awards and has received air play on numerous radio stations throughout the UK. It includes three songs that were co-written by the late, great Philip Donnelly and John Prine. Donnelly invited the band to record these songs with him in Tipperary, Ireland. The band is honored to be showcased at this year’s DelFest. More

With mutiny and high-tide looming, they must rescue their salty captain and find a way to repair their ship before all hope is lost … at sea! Throughout the story, we’ll explore the incredible science behind clouds, physical and chemical changes, air pressure, and more! Volunteers from the audience will help us conduct several hands-on science experiments that‘ARRR’sure to amaze you! Griefcat - Fri, July 1, 8pm
Described as "Local Favorites" by Washington City Paper, Griefcat is comprised of veteran singer-songwriters Louisa Hall and Annie Nardolilli. Annie and Louisa met behind the scenes at a variety show in 2015, and felt an immediate kinship after Annie sang about a Hot Park Ranger, and Louisa about her Barista Boyfriend. They reunited to play the 9:30 club in 2018 and vowed to form a band: Griefcat. They scheduled their first rehearsal in 2019, wrote a song about vaccines and eggrolls, and the rest is (recent) history.
Griefcat's songs range from hilarious to sincere with a unique sound akin to Flight of the Conchords, mixed with a little Dolly Parton and an indie flair. Griefcat entertains with music about the trials, joys, and tribulations of modern life. As one concert goer said, seeing Griefcat was "the most fun I've had since Lizzo". More
Elikeh - Sat, July 2, 8pm
Elikeh uses elements of Togolese rhythms as a foundation for exploration into American-influenced blues, funk and rock to produce captivating and danceable Afropop tunes. Although based in indigenous traditions, Elikeh’s music has no borders, exploring global themes and personal odysseys.The group’s leader, Massama Dogo, was born in Togo and developed his singing and songwriting ability performing with several local bands. He also acted as musical director of the University Orchestra in Togo.Elikeh has release three albums and an EP so far. They have recorded songs featuring contributions from the Malian guitarist, Vieux Farka Toure, and John Kadlecik, lead guitarist of Melvin Seals and JGB. More

The Fuss is a dynamic ska and rocksteady band from Washington, D.C. Their sound pays tribute to the music of 1960’s Jamaica and the British Mod scene, while putting modern slant on the timeless styles. The group showcases 3-part female harmonies and a 3-piece horn section. The Fuss's lively vibe gets a crowd going, yet is smooth and steady for a great groove. Joe Keyes & The Late Bloomer Band - Sat, July 9, 8pm

Joe Keyes will be the first to tell you that he is a late bloomer. A lifelong musician who got his start DJing in middle school, it wasn’t until 2009, as he was approaching his 50s, that Keyes found his band, and his true sound. The Freehold, NJ, native formed Joe Keyes & The Late Bloomer Band around an ensemble of young musicians equally adept at playing the funk, R&B, soul, rock and jazz flavors Keyes throws at them.
Equal parts front man, poet, and conductor, Keyes draws on the influences of Miles Davis, Gil Scott-Heron, Sun Ra, and early Parliament-Funkadelic when bands were led by strong, almost otherworldly leaders. As the nine-piece band grooves through the musical spectrum, Keyes cues the horns and the solos and directs the dynamics from epic crescendos to soft melodies. Add to the mix his deep, commanding vocals, which are punctuated by tales of love, family, and addiction from Keyes’ six decades on earth. More

Born of a mutual passion for the deep, down home sounds of an earlier time, eight-piece band King Soul is bringing the excitement of real Southern Soul to a new audience. Featuring original songs, powerful vocals, soaring horn work and driving rhythms, King Soul has become a top draw at area clubs and events. The all-star band includes members of the Slickee Boys, the Rhodes Tavern Troubadours, the Recliners, the Grandsons, the Hula Monsters the Thangs and the J Street Jumpers. King Soul’s membership holds more than 30 Washington Area Music Association Wammies and Austin Music Awards to its credit. Wicked Sycamore is an all-female trio hailing from the Baltimore/DC area, consisting of Juliette Bell on guitar, Lainie Gray on mandolin, and Madeline Waters on cello. Their sound can be described as contemporary folk with a mischievous edge that is grounded in traditional roots music but branches out into Americana and bluegrass. They write original music ranging from fun and light-hearted sing-alongs to deep, introspective tunes for the ages. No matter the genre, their music relies heavily on intricate vocal harmonies, thoughtful arrangement, and instrumental prowess. By growing their presence as a collaborative force, they hope to increase female representation as both musicians and songwriters throughout the modern music landscape. More
