Safety should always be the number one priority when throwing axes. You should make sure before you throw there is never anyone between you and the target and you have a minimum of a six foot radius around you that is clear of any other people.

We recommend sturdy yet flexible pants, like your favorite pair of jeans. Bending over to pick up your axe is a reality of axe throwing. Belts are awesome: we don't want any plumber's crack action happening. Pants are a better choice over shorts or skirts; covering more of your skin means less risk of minor injury.

We get that it might be an intimidating sport or game to some people, but you have nothing to worry about as long as you're working with professionals. You have a better chance of getting hurt at a bowling alley or even a driving range than at an axe throwing bar.
